God Sees Us As Good

Psalms 8:3-5 (NLT)

When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers

— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor.

Almighty God loves us and adores us. We are His great creation. We may wish we looked one way or another. Lighter, darker, taller, thinner, etc. But God sees us as good, and He cares for us, just the way we are.

We worship before You Father God, as the all-wise Creator, the all-sufficient One, the One who made the heaven and the earth and all that is in it. We praise You for the honor of being made in Your very image and likeness. We were created for Your glory and to worship You. We thank You for the strengths and abilities You have given each us. We thank You Lord, that we can enjoy life, we can enjoy the strengths and gifts You have freely given us, without pride or false modesty because we give You all the praise for it all. Without you, we are nothing. All that we have is because of You. It all comes from You, it's all sustained by You. May all that we have, all that we do and all that we say bring glory and honor to You.

We have so much to be thankful for. Today, just take a moment to thank God for the things in your life.
