Great Faith

Matthew 8:8-10(AMP)

But the centurion replied to Him, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man subject to authority [of a higher rank], with soldiers subject to me; and I say to one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard this, He was amazed and said to those who were following Him, “I tell you truthfully, I have not found such great faith [as this] with anyone in Israel.

The centurion's faith is an example of the highest form of faith. He understood the authority in the words of Jesus. He had a revelation of what faith is. He didn't need to see any physical evidence, he simply believed that what Jesus spoke would come to pass. Believing the Word is faith in action and God's Word will not return void.

The person who believes God as an act of faith, on purpose, is the one who is blessed. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. So I encourage you today, to commit to take the Word of God as your evidence. Believe the Word of God concerning your life. What you see in the natural may be a far cry from what you're believing for, but take hold of the Word. When you choose to believe God's Word without any physical evidence, there's no telling how high your faith can reach.
